Hi friends! My name is Brittany Ciesla, and I’m a Associate Admissions Outreach Manager with Martinsburg College. I’ve been in my position for over 2 years now and helped countless numbers of students not only go to college from home, but boost their resumes, add special skills to their education, learn new fields of study, and even start new career fields. We specialize in skill-specific certifications and associate degree programs, and I’d love to help get you started on a new chapter of life!
A little about me:
I’m a mom to a toddler, a cat mom, and also a wife to a jet engine mechanic in the United States Air Force. We temporarily live in England, and while we don’t know where the military will send us next, I am and will always available as a resource to my community. I grew up in a small town in Northeast Georgia, where I obtained my Bachelors in Media Communications, with a minor in Pop Culture from Young Harris College. I also took a medical certification program with Martinsburg College in 2019 and enjoyed every second of it!
As a family, we love to travel the world, ride motorcycles, cook (and eat) all kinds of food, meet new people, and listen to all varieties of music. I was in marching band and choir growing up, so music is my other hobby along with helping my students!

Learn how you can use the MyCAA grant to fully cover your funding
MyCAA
MyCAA is a DOD funded grant that allows spouses to gain career-focused education. It can potentially cover the full cost of our certificate programs if you qualify.
Financial Aid
Learn how you can use Financial Aid Pell grant towards your program if you qualify.
Pell Grant
Pell grant funding is granted to student's on an as-needed basis. Many of our students utilize this funding and have little to no out of pocket cost to them.
Military Spouse Scholarship
Our exclusive scholarship that can be applied to our select Associate's degrees
Military Spouse Scholarship
Our Military Spouse Scholarship is available to any spouse who has completed an allied health or IT certificate at Martinsburg College. If you qualify, the scholarship can be applied to cover the full tuition on the Associate of Science in Healthcare Administration or Integrated Technologies. Complete your associate's without the financial burden! Available to any spouse who completes program within 9 months and maintains a 3.0 gpa, there are no rank restrictions.
